It’s unusual for Aoba to stir into consciousness before Koujaku. It had happened a few times, but it was scarce. If Koujaku didn’t wake him up, the younger male would probably quite literally sleep well into the next day.
On this particular Sunday, though, Aoba found himself staring at the ceiling about an hour earlier than he was used to getting up. At this time, Koujaku would have made coffee and showered already (sometimes, anyway- other times he had plans for Aoba and himself) and probably started breakfast. It was then that he would make his way back into their bedroom to rouse a sleepy Aoba awake.
